Electromechanical Technician Certificate - Education Prerequisites

Students entering this program must have a high school diploma with credits at, or above, the general level or hold a equivalent mature student status. An electronics background is helpful but not essential.

Hardware and Software Requirements

Students must have access to a personal computer with the following minimum configuration

• CD-ROM or DVD drive & Sound Card
• Intel Pentium or equivalent
• 32 MB RAM (64 MB recommended)
• 100 MB available disk space
• Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/ME/Vista/Windows 7
• 16, 32 and 64 bit compatible
• Microsoft Outlook Express
• Internet Access
• Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail or any other MAPI compliant application
